Borussia Dortmund’s German International Midfielder Sven Bender is subject to interest from Premier League sides Arsenal FC, Southampton, and Liverpool FC as he grows increasingly frustrated with his lack of first team chances.
German paper . Bild report that German international midfielder Sven Bender is looking at the exit door at Borussia Dortmund after growing increasingly frustrated due to his limited start for the club.
The German international has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2017 and the 26-year-old is coming off a poor 2014-15 season, where he looked to be but a shell of his old self. Injury sidelined Bender towards the end of the 2013-14 season, and he hasna t been the same since.
He made a total of 32 appearances for Borrusia Dortmund in 2014-15, coming off the bench in almost a third of those occasions and now wants to get his career back on tract with his chances limited at the Dortmund club.
Bild report that Bender has had a contact with Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC and Southamptona about a move. He is on a A?41k a week contract with Borussia Dortmund currently and with Liverpool FC looking to add to the defensive steel in the side following two seasons of conceding goals at will, it is quite a risk that the club will be taking considering they have Lucas Leiva on their book, another player who is constantly injured.
Arsenal FC are also in the market for a defensive midfielder since last summer with the club regularly linked to Sami Khedira who has now signed with Juventus on free.
