Jurgen Klopp hailed his team’s performance and labeled all of Liverpool’s goals as “perfect”, as the Reds beat Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The German also heaped praise on midfield maestro Philippe Coutinho, after the Brazilian’s brilliant double helped Liverpool earn three points with a 3-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.
Ramires scored early on for Chelsea, and it looked as though the Blues were to finally get their season going. But Philippe Coutinho had other plans, and the Brazilian scored in either half to give Liverpool a 2-1 lead, before Christian Benteke came on in the second half and put the game to bed by scoring the third.

Jurgen Klopp, who was impressed by the 22-year old’s performance against Chelsea, also lauded his entire team’s performance. The German also insisted that coming from behind was the main positive to take away from the victory.

“Philippe is a great player,” Klopp told BT Sport. “He has unbelievable skill, he’s a great guy.
“You have to fight, you have to work and that’s what he did today — he got back what he invested.”
Good times ahead for Liverpool
Liverpool displayed great character today, as they came from behind and won the battle against Mourinho’s men. The team seems to be gelling well their new manager, which is translated into confidence on the pitch.
This is the first time Liverpool have scored more than twice at Stamford Bridge in a league game since December 1989. If what Klopp is trying to do at Anfield turns out to be the right formula- it won’t be the last time the Reds prevail over tougher oppositions.
