Jose Mourinho Expresses His Exasperation Over Disrespectful English Media

Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho has slammed the English media for giving him no respect, after two teenagers caught a footage of the Portuguese near his house. Mourinho also vowed to focus on getting Chelsea back in contention for the title, after a poor start to the campaign.

Ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Upton Park, Jos Mourinho was unhappy at the English media, as two teenagers shot a footage of him for almost 20 minutes while he was walking near his house. Mourinho expressed his frustration over the incident, while Chelsea described it as ‘overly intrusive’ behaviour.

a You dona t get from me good and funny headlines,a Mourinho said at his media conference for Saturdaya s Premier League clash at West Ham. a Ia m going to treat your bosses the same way they treat me. No respect, no respect. And Ia m not speaking about football. Football Ia m ready to accept any kind of criticism, even the stupid ones.

a Private life and stupid things that you bring to light, I dona t like it. So we go to a different level of professional relationship.

After winning the Premier league last season, the Champions have not performed to their full potential this season. But Mourinho believes the team is together since day one, and vows to pull their socks up.

“The team was always together. Wea ve got two important results, three points in the Premier League after two matches without a victory and against a direct rival for qualification in the Champions League [Dynamo] we got a point away and the chance in 15 days to play against them. The mood improves with results and people are happy.a

Mourinho has constantly been under the media’s microscope, and a win against West Ham on Saturday will certainly ease a bit of pressure off the 52-year old, as they will have registered back to back premier league wins. Eden Hazard was dropped in last weekend’s win over Aston Villa, but returned to the starting eleven in the Champions League. The Chelsea fans will be waiting for him to find the form that made him Chelsea’s best player last season.
