It’s Chelsea v Liverpool, It Is Going To Be Tough: John Terry

Chelsea travel to Liverpool for the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final and captain John Terry believes it is going to be a tough game.

Chelsea are in fine form at the moment and their position in the league reflects their performance over the season. Chelsea are at the top of the table, five points ahead of second placed Manchester City and are in contention for four trophies this season.

With an excellent victory against Swansea in the Premier League, the focus for The Blues now turns to the Capital One Cup semi-final. The first leg of which will be played at Anfield on Tuesday, with the return leg to be played at the Stamford Bridge next Tuesday.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the last five matches against Liverpool, and have won on their last two visits to Anfield, most recently back in November. Captain John Terry spoke about the importance and difficulty of the game.

The skipper also spoke about the desire within the squad to be competitive on all fronts during the second half of the season. He feels that competing in all the competitions is exactly where Chelsea want to be at this point of the season.

John Terry, on Saturday, became the third-highest appearance maker in Chelseaa s history. The defender surpassed former captain Frank Lampard when he made his 649th appearance for the club.
