Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva has revealed doubts over his future at Real Madrid, claiming that he needed to speak with new manager Rafael Benitez while admitting that he could be on his way out of the club this summer.

The Spanish domestic rule only permits the presence of three non-EU players in the squad which means that Lucas Silva could be edged out by the arrival of a new signing this summer. Currently there are three non-EU players in the squad, including new signing Danilo and Casemiro. Hence admitting that there was no room for him at the club, Lucas Silva is open to the idea of leaving Real Madrid on loan this summer.

a Leaving on loan to play more is a possibility. There are also too many non-EU players at Real Madrida

Having joined Real Madrid in January, Lucas Silva failed to impress Carlo Ancelotti and featured for a total of 427 minutes since his arrival. With the return of Casemiro in the squad, Lucasa role in the squad is not clear since Real Madrid already have the likes of Modric, Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez in their ranks.
