Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo says he is eager to work with new Real Madrid new boss Rafael Benitez who boasts an impressive level of experience and claims he has no news on Sergio Ramos’ transfer plans.

Real Madrid decided to sack Carlo Ancelotti, a man very popular among the Real Madrid players, from the helm of affairs after the club failed to win any trophies last season.

Former Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC manager Rafa Benitez, who was in charge of Napoli until last season, was appointed as the new manager of the Spanish giants.

Commenting on the new manager, Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is eager to work with Rafael Benitez,

“I’ve never worked with him, but he’s a coach with a lot of experience. We’ll see what happens, but I want to work with him,” he told SNTV.

“We’ll see if we can win important titles. I’m eager to get working with him.”

When asked about the proposed transfer of his team mate Sergio Ramos to Manchester United in the summer, Ronaldo had little to say despite it being an open secret that the players are very good friends.

When asked whether the defender were close to an exit from the Spanish capital, he replied simply: “I don’t know”.

.

Earlier, Ronaldo’s Portugal team mate Pepe had also given his stamp of approval to the new boss.

The Real Madrid defender said that he was looking forward to working under the former Liverpool FC boss: a Ia m looking forward to starting the season. I want to return, reconnect with my colleagues, meet Rafa Benitez and start working. Ia m very motivated because I believe wea ll have a spectacular season.a
