Try running for once you snake – Fans to Mario Balotelli

The Italian striker had a dismal start to life at Anfield, as he scored a single goal in the Premier League, following his A?16 million move from AC Milan, last summer. The fans want the 24-year-old to be sold by the club, and his tweets in support of Sterling, did no good to his reputation amongst fans.

The Italian has made more news for his off-field antics than his on-field heroics, but it does not justify some of the vile abuse hurled towards him by a section of the Liverpool fan base. The striker is reportedly on the market, as Liverpool FC are looking to off-load him, following the imminent arrival of Christian Benteke.

Sterling has been the center of hateful tweets from the Anfield faithful, after he missed training reportedly faking an injury to force his transfer through to Manchester City.
