The attacking teams of Hero Indian super league 2014, FC Goa and Chennayin FC will go face to face in opening fixture of 3rd round. FC Goa unlike last season has had a decent start with four points from two games while Chennayin FC have lost both of their opening games and will be looking to end their losing streak against the Gaurs.

FC Goa had decent start to the league, and will be up against the teams which handed them first lose in the ISL. Zico have settled line up and may not do changing and chopping. The team have played beautiful brand of football. They expected to start with their usual 4-2-3-1 formation against Chennayin FC.
The defense has been rock solid in last matches for the Zico, Experience of Lucio and Gregory have helped them. Both the men complement each other well. The midfield will expect to feature Denson Devdas, Leo Moura and Jofre. The former Chennayin FC defender Denson has been impressive blocking lots of opponenta s attacks. He has been missed by Chennayin so far in the season. The duo of Rome and Mandar should do better than their last match against Athletico de Kolkata. The wingers if gets going that it will be very difficult for Chennayin defenders to contain them. Rienaldo should start scoring some goals now, he have got many opportunities but havena t capitalized on many in the last game.

Chennayin FC :
The Southern side hasna t had best of the start to the league. Having lost both their opening fixtures they would look to bounce back against FC Goa. The defense hasna t been doing enough, they finding hard to contain pacy forwards. Mendy have been below par so far, the Frenchmen was impressive last season. The midfield is over reliant on Elano, the marquee is lone warrior in the midfield, the team is expecting too much from the midfielder. Rest of midfielders should share responsibility with the Brazilian. Forwards such as Mendoza and Fikru is doing decent job but that not enough to help them score goal. They would have to start finding back of the net before ita s too late for Chennayins.
