FC Goa staged a remarkable comeback after trailing by two goals to beat Delhi Dynamos 3-2 in their last league stage match of the Hero Indian Super League to jump to the top of the standings on Sunday.

Both teams had already sealed their place in the semis and neither team looked serious, but the Lions managed to take a 2-0 lead by halftime with goals from Serginho Green and Adil Nabi. FC Goa though had other ideas, as they staged their comeback in the second half thanks to Romeo Fernandesa two goals in two minutes. Joffre then piled more misery on Delhi Dynamos with a late winner to seal the top spot in the standings.

Both teams however, will again go head to head, in the semis after Delhi Dynamos were forced to accept the fourth place in the standings due to an inferior goal difference.

In the other semis, Atletico de Kolkata will go head to head against Chennaiyin FC as the two teams finished second and third respectively in the points table.

Delhi Dynaos though would be a tad disappointed after losing their first home in the season but their home form wasna t much impressive either, as they won only once against Chennaiyin FC.

Both teams had made a host of changes to their lineup considering the upcoming semi finals ahead but fielded a team strong enough to win the match on their day.

Delhi Dynamos FC took the lead through Serginho Greenea s header on the 31st minutefrom a beautiful ball sent in by Florent Malouda from a free kick.

.

Adil Nabi then doubled the lead for the Lions, after Richard Gadze through ball set Nabi up for an easy scoring opportunity.

Zicoa s FC Goa started the second half with a completely different approach and was soon rewarded as Substitute Romeo Fernandes first pulled one back for the Guars before going to level the score.

Romeo made a darting run on the 68th minute inside from the wing and then went for a powerful shot to score past Sanjiban Ghosh. Reinaldo again proved to be provider for the second goal as Romeo was presented with an easy tap in on the 69th minute.

With the momentum on their side, FC Goa then went to snatch the winner as Joffre beat the offside trap and then went around the goalkeeper to score the late winner.
