Xavi Hernandez has officially made it clear now that this is his last season with FC Barcelona. And the Catalan giants seem to have earmarked Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as his successor as they are ready to offer 70 million euros to the Gunners for the signature of Wales international.
FC Barcelona are currently banned from making any new signings from the transfer market. But their ban lifts up in January 2016 and they have already started looking for a world class central midfielder who can replace Xavi Hernandez, which is not an easy task at all.
Paul Pogba of Juventus and Koke of Atletico Madrid have emerged as the possible replacements of Xavi Hernandez of late. But the asking price of Juventus for Pogba is more than 100 million euros and Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has already made it clear that he is staying with Rojiblancos.
Aaron Ramsey has become an essential component of this Arsenal squad since last few years. The Wales international has played a key role in the midfield of Arsenal this season as he has completed 2394 passes in 34 appearances, with pass accuracy rate of 86 percent.
The Sun report claims that these impressive displays of Aaron Ramsey have caught the attention of FC Barcelona management and they are willing to pay as much as 70 million euros for the services of the player.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger considers Aaron Ramsey as an essential part of his squad and he is not willing to sale him at any cost.
But, the management of FC Barcelona is confident that a lucrative deal and an opportunity to play alongside the likes of Messi, Neymar and Suarez would make Aaron Ramsey to say yes to their offer.
