Current form of FC Barcelona is very encouraging as they look certain to reach the finals of Champions League, while the enjoy a 2 point lead over Real Madrid. But, there are signs of internal turmoil at Camp Nou as Luis Enrique is thinking of resigning because of his a not so gooda relationship with superstar Leo Messi.

Luis Enrique is just six games away from winning all three major trophies, Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey, for FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona struggled in the early stages of this season as they were not consistent enough. But, things changed quite fast for the Blaugrana in the newyear. They regained the top spot in La Liga, while they are almost certain to reach the finals of UEFA Champions League now.

Luis Enrique was hugely criticized for his rotation policy by the Spanish media when the Catalans were struggling in the La Liga. And his relationship with Leo Messi, affected by the same rotation policy, is not very healthy.

Another reason behind Luis Enriquea s (not yet final) decision to leave FC Barcelona is the upcoming board elections of the Catalan club.

The latest trend suggests that new board of FC Barcelona always selects a new coach and Luis Enrique wants to avoid such scenario by offering a resignation, even if Barca wins Champions League and La Liga.

The contract of Luis Enrique runs until 2016 and interestingly, he has always remained tight lipped about his future.

Meanwhile, reports coming from Spain have also confirmed the plans of Luis Enrique to leave FC Barcelona.

Marca has claimed it today that No matter how often he is asked, Luis Enrique’s lips are sealed. His future remains undecided despite him still having a year left on his contract. He hides behind a rehearsed speech that he is not thinking beyond his next game and that is it.
