FC Barcelona players have an easy looking job at their hands as they face relegation bound Almeria at Camp Nou tonight but coach Luis Enrique has asked his players to avoid any complacency and secure a win to extend their lead at the top. Luis Enrique has also offered his backing to Andres Iniesta and Neymar, who are being criticized for their recent poor displays.

FC Barcelona are looking in great touch at the moment while they also proved on Sunday that they can win it dirty. However, in spite of their recent run of great performances, the duo of Andres Iniesta and Neymar are being criticized for poor displays of late.

But Luis Enrique believes that it is just a temporary phenomenon and both, Iniesta and Neymar, will come back to their best sooner rather than later.

“I am not worried about Neymar’s form,” Luis Enrique said at a press conference.

“We are talking about a player of the highest level. I have no doubt that he will return to his best and start scoring goals again.

“And even when he does not score, Neymar still contributes a lot to the team.”

The FC Barcelona coach also came to the defence of Andres Iniesta. He said: “We are more than happy with Iniesta’s performances. Andres gives the team a lot in all aspects of the game.

“Iniesta is a pleasure to watch. Of course, I always want all my players to improve and do even better.”

Former player of FC Barcelona, Sergi Berjuan, is now appointed as the manager of Almeria and Luis Enrique was full of praise for his a good frienda .

a Hea s a friend and I am often in contact with him. I am very glad that hea s been offered this opportunity and I hope he makes the most of it. But only from Thursday onwards!a

a Managerial changes are a way of stimulating a team and its players. That could be dangerous for us.a
