FC Barcelona against Valencia promises to be a great spectacle to watch as both teams are looking in excellent form at the moment. Catalan coach Luis Enrique has urged his fans to remain on their feet and make as much noise as they can to boost the morale of his players.
Valencia, under coach Nuno, has become a force to reckon with in La Liga this season as they are just a point behind third placed Atletico Madrid. The Los Che prepared well for this key clash against FC Barcelona by securing a highly impressive 3-0 win over Levante and their young players like Paco Alcacer, Rodrigo, Shkordan Mustafi has all the potential to make life miserable for Blaugrana players in their own backyard.
Luis Enrique is well aware of the challenge posed by Valencia and has asked the Camp Nou faithful to show their support to the team by creating as much noise as they can.
“I’m calling on the fans. I hope the Camp Nou is packed to the rafters and for them to drive us onwards and upwards,a said the FC Barcelona boss in a press conference.
a I want the stadium to be full at 4 o’ clock and for the fans to be on their feet and ready for battle. If the team are in trouble at any point, I want the stadium to be rocking. I’ve never asked the supporters for anything, but I would like some extra trust and blind faith from them tomorrow [Saturday]”.
The attacking trident of FC Barcelona, comprising of Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, has received a special praise from the media for their skillful displays of past couple of months. But Luis Enrique believes that not only the trio, but entire FC Barcelona squad is brimming with world-class talent.
“Every coach would be happy to have Messi, Neymar and Suarez, but also having Sergio Busquets, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Dani Alves …”
