FC Barcelona have an injury boost ahead of the weekend’s home game against Malaga as Neymar and Sergio Busquets are declared fit.
Neymar has been absent from the FC Barcelona line up for three weeks due to mumps and missed the UEFA Super Cup win over Sevilla, Spanish Super Cup loss to Atheltic Bilbao and the win over Bilbao in the league opener.
However, the Brazil star returned to FC Barcelona training last Friday and is set to feature this weekend.
Meanwhile, defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets is also set to return to the squad as per reports in Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Busquets limped off with an ankle knock in the win over Bilbao, but the FC Barcelona website later confirmed that the injury was not serious.
However, the club will miss Dani Alves who is out injured for three games following injury in the Bilbao clash. Back up right-back Douglas is also out injured and the manager has a decision to make regarding who he will play at the right side of his defence. The wonderful performance of Sergi Roberto against Bilbao will bring some relief to the manager.
The availability of Neymar is a relief to the manager with Pedro leaving for Chelsea FC. The transfer ban on the Catalans means that they cannot register Arda Turan till January.
Enrique deployed central attacking midfielder Rafinha on the left wing against Bilbao and it is fair to say the playmaker did not look comfortable playing there.
Youngsters Sandro and Munir and the natural back-ups to Neymar for the position.
FC Barcelona will be without Pique who is suspended for four games for being sent off against Atheltic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup tie, with the club yet to decide to appeal the decision.
