Danilo Has His Heart Set On ai??i??25 Million Move To Real Madrid ai??i?? Spanish Report

Brazilian full-back, Danilo, is believed to have told FC Porto that he wants to make the move to Real Madrid this summer.

Real Madrid have been heavily linked with Brazilian full-back, Danilo, recently and reports from Spain suggest that the Spanish giants are closing in on the 23-year old. According to Marca, the defender is eager to make the move and has told FC Porto the same.

FC Porto are trying their best to convince Danilo to extend his contract in order to either make him stay or increase his transfer value. However, Danilo is keen on becoming a a Galacticoa this summer.

Recent developments suggest that the Brazilian full-back, despite garnering interest from Barcelona, is all set to don the white stripes of Real Madrid. Real Madrid representatives met with the defendera s agent in Madrid last week, where the Brazil internationala s desire to join the club was confirmed.

Another meeting took place in Portugal, in which Daniloa s representatives alarmed Porto that the defender is not interested in extending his current contract and the club should sell him this summer or he will leave for free next summer.

Another report in the Spanish daily, Marca, suggests that Real Madrid will try to acquire Danilo for a transfer fee in the region of a 20-25 million. Such a fee will mean that Porto will make a 7-12m profit on the defender. This will not go down very well with the Porto president, who is known to make roaring profits on his playera s sales.

However, the circumstances in which the deal is expected to fall through favour Real Madrid and Danilo more than Porto. Danilo only has 16 months left on his current contract and the Brazilian is not very keen to renew his contract with Porto. This means that if Porto do not cash in on the defender this summer, there is a high possibility of Danilo leaving for free next year, when his contract expires. This means that Porto may not be able to fetch the a 40m release clause that they initially pointed to when ‘Los Blancos’ made their first approach. Also the fact that Porto are having cash-flow problems and the need to raise funds might work in Real Madrida s favour.

Porto president, Pinto Da Costa, might have to settle for a much lesser transfer fee for Danilo a which will not go down very well with the president a but he will surely try every possible way to fetch maximum transfer fee for the player.
