England U19 international Isaiah Brown had an outstanding 2014-2015 season with the Chelsea FC youth teams a captaining the U18s to victory in the FA Youth Cup as well as the U19s to the UEFA Youth League title a and is now set to begin his first full season in senior football with feeder club Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The former West Bromwich Albion youngstera s development prompted Chelsea FC manager Jos Mourinho to promote the teenager to the first-team squad along with Ruben Loftus-Cheek following the departures of Mohamed Salah and Andr SchA?rrle in the January transfer window.
Brown has since trained with the first-team regularly, and made his first senior appearance for the club as a substitute in a 3-0 defeat against former club West Brom in May this year, after the Blues had wrapped up the title.
According to ESPN sources as well as Englanda s Daily Mirror, Chelsea FC are now planning to send the teenager on loan to Vitesse this coming season with the expectation that Brown would get regular playing time as well as gain some valuable first-team experience.
The 18-year-old has tended to play in a supporting role to the striker of late, but is also capable of playing as a centre forward himself. His versatility also enables him to play on either flank in the attacking midfield positions of a 4-2-3-1, which is the formation most used by the Chelsea FC youth teams.

The teenager has the physicality to compete in senior football despite having a few more years of growing left, but it is his maturity and leadership over the course of last season that has been so impressive, and potentially has prompted the club to make the decision to send him out on loan.
Browna s best performances last season came in the biggest matches: he led the U18s comeback against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Youth Cup semi-final at Stamford Bridge, before scoring in the second leg of the final against Manchester City.
The Englishman also bagged a brace in the UEFA Youth League final against Shakhtar Donestk that set the Blues on the path to victory. As the captain of the team in these fixtures, he has truly led by example.
Brown is also one of the players that Mourinho has earmarked for a future with the England national team, with the Portuguese declaring that he should be held responsible if that does not eventually happen. With a move to the Dutch top division imminent, it appears as though the youngster is now ready to take a step in that direction.
