Chelsea FC: Willian,Oscar And Azpilicueta,Expected To Start Against Tottenham

Chelsea FC will be looking to get back to winning ways, when they clash swords against Tottenham Hotspur, in the London derby. Chelsea FC, were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw against Southampton, in a fixture highlighted by controversies and refereeing howlers. Meanwhile, second place Manchester City are in hot pursuit of Chelsea FC and with Manchester City, facing much more inferior opponents than Tottenham, in Sunderland, Chelsea FC would hope for a win against Spurs and to ensure this, Jose Mourinho is expected to ring in as many as three changes.

Willian, Oscar and Azpilicueta are expected to start against Tottenham and replace Andre Schurrle, John Obi Mikel and Fillipe Luis. Although, former Atletico de Madrid full back Filipe Luis, dished out an impressive performance against Southampton, Mourinho could prefer to start with a much more stable and defensive minded, Azpilicueta. These three replacements mean that the robust midfield duo of Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic, will remain intact and Willian alongside Oscar will enact in the holy trinity along with sensational Eden Hazard. The tip of Chelsea FC’s spear is likely to be Diego Costa, who is enjoying the time of his life.

Brought from Atletico de Madrid, Costa has cherished life under Jose Mourinho. The imposing striker, has already scored thirteen goals and will hope that his Midas touch continues when Chelsea play Tottenham.

The strong center back pairing of John Terry and Gary Cahill, is one again expected to be fielded in the heart of defense. Terry, surprisingly was caught in an act of dilemma – which gifted Southampton their opening goal. However, the English International will hope that his solid form, which has been one of the many keys in Chelsea FC’s structure, shine again.

Meanwhile, Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino should freshen up his starting line-up, with the Argentinian set to bring back the likes of left-back Danny Rose, forward Erik Lamela, winger Aaron Lennon and right-back Kyle Walker after they were rested against Manchester United on Sunday.
