For a team that ran riot in the Premier League, just five months ago, three wins from nine matches is a dismal start to the season. From the Eva Carneiro controversy, to stadium bans imposed on manager Jose Mourinho by the FA, hardly anything has been going on the right track for Chelsea, this season.
However, Jose Mourinho seems to have a completely different opinion of how things are at the club. His opinion on Chelseaa s chances of winning silverware at the end of the season would seem evens more incredulous.
The Chelsea boss seems to believe thata s his team is still in the running for all four trophies (Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup), in spite of being 10 points adrift of table-toppers Manchester City, at the moment.

Mourinho seems to have gotten some new-found optimism after his sidea s 2-0 win over Aston Villa, in the weekend, but faces a difficult away trip to Ukraine, where they have to play Dynamo Kiev. The Blues would have got just two days to recover from the grueling match against Aston Villa, while Dynamo Kiev played their last game on Friday, and would have an extra day.
It would be interesting to see how Chelsea set up against Kiev, in the midweek and whether wingman Eden Hazard would be reinstated to the starting XI, or whether Mourinho would continue to keep the Belgian on the bench.
