Chelsea have agreed a deal with AS Monaco for Radamel Falcao, confirmed Sky Sports and BBC.
The confirmation from the most trusted sources in football indicates that it won’t be too long before the clubs involved also make this official.
Radamel Falcao was expected to do great things at Manchester United and his arrival was met with jubilation from the United fans and jealousy from rival fans. Things however didn’t go to plan. Falcao wasn’t able to replicate his Atletico Madrid form and was hugely underwhelming. Jose Mourinho though wants to bring the best out of the player and said that it pains him to see Premier League fans thinking the real Falcao was the one they saw at Manchester United. We will have to wait and see how much of an impact the Colombian has at the London side or how involved he with Mourinho’s strike force comprising Diego Costa, Loic Remy.
