Manchester United keeper David De Gea is yet to decide on his future but Iker Casillas has dropped massive hints at the Spaniarda s move to Real Madrid.

The David de Gea saga is yet to reach its conclusion, as neither the keeper nor the clubs involved have publicly announced where the Spaniarda s future lies. With just a year left in his Manchester United contract, the 24-year old has been linked with a move back to Spain as Real Madrid look for Casillasa successor.

Iker Casillas, who recently turned 34, did not shy away from talking about his national teammate and said that he will relish the competition, once De Gea joins the club. The club captain also confirmed that he intends to finish his career at the Bernabeu and would not mind sacrificing his starting spot between the sticks.

“I’m delighted with the competition,” he told Spanish TV. “My contract does not say you have to start.

“I would like to finish my career here.a

The legendary Spaniard believes De Gea will be well received at the club and his experience at Old Trafford will help him handle the pressure.

“De Gea is a really nice boy and a goalkeeper for the present and future. He’ll be well received and helped.

“We’ll compete. He can handle the pressure and will be served from his experience at United.”

Real Madrid vs Getafe
Casillas is looking forward to compete with De Gea.

Casillasa comments leave little to imagination as the World Cup winner has all but confirmed that De Gea will join Real Madrid this summer. It will be interesting to see how the club deals with having three world-class keepers a Casillas, Navas and De Gea a in the roster. With Iker intending to retire at the club, Keylor Navas is mostly likely to be forced to exit to make room for De Gea come summer.
