Diego Costa did score in Chelsea FC’s home game against Norwich City, but another top marksman has been linked to the Blues ahead of the Winter transfer window, and this time its Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang.
While Mourinho has declared that he would not persuade the Chelsea FC board to go shopping in the upcoming January 2016 transfer window, it does not seem that the Blues are still looking buy some firepower up front.
Chelsea FC have already been linked to a host of strikers from Europe and South America, and according to The Sun, they also seem to have shortlisted Dortmund striker Aubameyang.
Chelsea FC forward woes continue
The West London club seemed to have gotten rid of their forward issues when they bought Costa from Atletico Madrid last season. However, the Spain international seems to have been out of form in recent times, managing to score just three goals so far this Premier League campaign.

Meanwhile, backup strikers Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy combined, have been able to score just one goal this season. This seems to have prompted the bosses at Stamford Bridge to look towards the continent for more solutions.
Aubemayang on hot form
Dortmund’s Aubemayang is one of the hottest properties in Europe at the moment, as he has been scoring goals at free will in the Bundesliga. He has already scored 15 goals from 13 Bundesliga appearances, as his season keeps getting better and better.
However, the Gabon international seems to have been overshadowed a bit by the incredible goalscoring form shown by Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. As the 26-year-old seems to have hit the form of his life, this addition could turn out to be quite beneficial to Chelsea FC.
