Speaking after Real Madrida s 4-1 win over Manchester City in the pre-season tour, Rafael Benitez commented that everything was fine between Cristiano Ronaldo and him while confirming Karim Benzemaa s future at Real Madrid amidst interest from Arsenal.
As reported earlier, Rafael Benitez seems to have failed to win Cristiano Ronaldo over with reports suggesting a rift between the Portuguese superstar and the new manager. The former Manchester United winger has been also linked with a move back to Old Trafford after having been left in the shadows at Real Madrid.
Everything Is Fine With Cristiano Ronaldo
However Rafael Benitez played down such reports by commenting that Cristiano Ronaldo was a happya at the club.

Centring his team around Gareth Bale, who was again used in the No 10 position against Manchester City, Rafael Benitez will need to keep Cristiano Ronaldo happy if he is achieve success at Real Madrid.
Karim Benzema Will Stay With Us
Amidst interest from Arsenal, Rafael Benitez refused to talk in detail about the French striker but insisted that he was sure that Benzema would stay at Real Madrid this summer.

“And I say always the same, it is their player and I will not talk about that. In this case, Karim is our player but I won’t talk about that. But I’m sure he will stay with us.”
Karim Benzemaa s agent earlier clarified that the player would be staying at Real Madrid as he is not keen on moving away from the Spanish capital. Armed with a big budget, Arsene Wenger has been given the green signal to sign a top-quality striker this summer in a bid to strengthen his squad for the upcoming season. Reports suggest that Wenger is looking to snap up long-time target Karim Benzema from the Spanish capital.
However, the Presidenta s favourite, Karim Benzema will prove to be a tough transfer target for Arsenal as neither the player nor the club is likely to be tempted by an offer. The first choice striker at Real Madrid, Benzema is guaranteed of a starting position at Santiago Bernabeu and with no other striker in the ranks, Rafael Benitez and Florentino Perez are unlikely to part ways with the Frenchman.
