Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Juventus star Arturo Vidal subject to medical in a deal worth around A?28m and the fans of German champions are ecstatic as rival fans fear the growing prowess of the Bayern Squad.

Arturo Vidal will join Bayern Munich from Juventus if he passes a medical, the German champions have announced.

The Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, confirmed the Chile international midfieldera s move, pending a medical, at a press conference in Guangzhou, China where Bayern are currently on tour.

He said: a I can fundamentally confirm that we have reached an agreement with both parties, Juventus and the player. All that is lacking now is the medical and the signatures on the contract.a

Arturo Vidal has signed a contract in the region of 90,000 GBP per week, as per the Guardian with the player also having earlier confirmed in an interview about his impeding move.

The Chilean had been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and Arsenal FC in recent months, however, Juventus had denied that they had received any offer for the player from the two clubs with Bayern now confirmed winners of the race.

Vidal is one of the best midfielders in the world, and was a key ingredient of the Juventus side that reached the UEFA Champions League final and the Chile side that won the Copa America.

Adding steel to the side is a very welcome move and will balance the side, further.

The Bayern fans could not hide their delight at the deal with rival fans fearing the Bayern side could be difficult to stop with Vidal in the side.

Bayern are going to be a powerhouse. Douglas Costa will be one of the best wingers in the world & Vidal is perfect Schweini replacement.

Vidal-Martinez-Thiago a perfect balance, could be footballa s best CM trio. But Pepa s seen Javi as a CB, Alaba & Lahm in MF. Will he change? a Clark Whitney (@Mr_Bundesliga) July 20, 2015

Also tell me why Juve’s future is bright, and why selling Vidal for 40m is a great piece of business.

Reasons Juve sold Vidal : 1. They want new energy in the team 2. Be had a great Copa America 3. They’re tired of his off field antics [TMW]

What annoys me more is that.. Those we see better than us.. Sign better players to become more unstoppable. Douglas .Vidal to Bayern

@juvefcdotcom Vidal has been getting worse past two seasons, this is last summer to cash in, Juve is getting a very good (not great) return

Vidal: Bayern get the player they wanted 4 years ago, for 3x the cost. Price appropriate: hea s affirmed his class at Juve, brilliant signing

a Clark Whitney (@Mr_Bundesliga) July 20, 2015

Bayern fans have really been spoiled watching the best midfielders play recent years for them. Bastian Kroos Alonso Lahm Thiago Vidal wtf a Jnr. (@__Femi) July 20, 2015

.

@Mr_Bundesliga Bayern would not have got the experienced and mature Vidal if they signed him 4 years ago. Good signing in a good time
