Radja Nainggolana s agent has hinted that the player is most likely to remain at AS Roma but interest from Real Madrid could change things.
Highly-rated AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is most likely to remain at the club as manager Rudi Garcia has expressed his keenness on keeping the Belgian in Italy next season. The playera s agent also came forward and said that he expects Nainggolan to remain at the club but also hinted that the midfielder might be tempted by a move to Real Madrid.
After the departure of Sami Khedira to Juventus, Real Madrid are a bit short in the midfield department. Last season, frequent injuries to Luka Modric and James Rodriguez was one of the main reasons behind Real Madrida s downfall. New manager Rafael Benitez will be under pressure to strengthen the midfield and Nainggolan is just one of the players linked with the club.
The 27-year-old’s agent, Ludovico Spinosi, spoke to IlSussidiario.net, and said that the player will most likely remain at Roma but interest from Real Madrid could change things.
“I believe Nainggolan will stay at Roma, although when you are talking about Real Madrid, things can change,” Spinosi said. “[Roma president James] Pallotta knows that Nainggolan is very important for Roma, and could have many offers for the player. Keep an eye out for Real Madrid.”
Real Madrid are definitely in the market for a midfielder despite Casemiroa s return to the club. Los Blancos have been linked to the likes of Marco Verratti and Paul Pogba but the club has denied interest in both the midfielders via official announcements. In such circumstances, the Spanish giants might be on the look-out for a midfielder who will be ready to accept a secondary role as a back-up to regular starters Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. In such a case, Radja Nainggolan is a good option for the Whites as the player is seemingly keen on the move and might also be convinced to warm the bench from time-to-time.
