Arsenal are keen on signing Galatasaray keeper Fernando Muslera who has also been targeted by Manchester United.
Arsenal are in the market for a new goalkeeper after Wojciech Szczesny fell out of favour with Arsene Wenger and David Ospina took up his place in the starting line-up. Wenger is believed to be keen on signing a goalkeeper this summer to strengthen his squad and recent reports suggest that a move for Galatasaray stopper Fernando Muslera might be on the cards.
The Uruguay international is also believed to be on Manchester Uniteda s radar as the Old Trafford club are expected to lose De Gea to Real Madrid this summer. Arsenala s interest may trigger a bidding war between the two Premier League clubs for the 28-year old. The keeper will likely cost the Gunners close to A?15 million.

Szczesnya s drop in form led Arsenal to field Ospina between the sticks towards the end of the season. The Colombian did a reasonably good job for the Gunners but the club is still keeping an eye on the goalkeepera s that can add to their strengths. Chelsea veteran Petr Cech has also been linked with a move to the club but it is unlikely that Mourinho will allow the keeper to join the championa s closest rivals. In these circumstances, Muslera seems to be the perfect choice for Arsenal this summer.
On the other hand, interest from Manchester United will mean that the keepera s price might escalate. However, at 28 years of age, the Uruguayana s signature will be a bargain for a transfer fee in the region of A?15 million.
