Arsenal FC lost their second consecutive Champions League group stage game as they crashed to a 3-2 loss against an inspired Olympiakos side. David Ospina had an average day in between the sticks and conceded a howler.
The Gunners looked to have found momentum after back-to-back away victories at Spurs and Leicester, but the shaky defence of Arsene Wenger’s men was exploited by the Greek side.
Olympiakos opened the scoring when Felipe Pardo’s strike took a wicked deflection off Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and nestled into the back of the net with Ospina failing to keep it out. Theo Walcott scored in the second successive game to bring the Gunners back on level terms, but Ospina had a moment to forget as he caught an incoming corner and let the ball drop inside the goal line before trying to clear it. The fourth official present near the goal rightly awarded a goal to the Greek side.
Alexis Sanchez then equalized for Arsenal FC, getting on the end of a Theo Walcott cross, but Olympiakos hit straight back, scoring from kick-off as the Gunners’ defence went missing.
Arsenal FC fans took to Twitter to express their discontent and questioned Arsene Wenger’s decision to start the Colombian goalkeeper ahead of Champions League winner Petr Cech.

How did we lose tonight? I don’t know. I’m afraid overall it’s exceptionally hard to Giroud and Ospina put my finger on it. a Wenger Knows Best (@wengerknowsbest) September 29, 2015

Half time talk is most probably Alexis punching everybody in the face for two minutes each. Ospina seven minutes.
