Jeff Reine-Adelaide, the 17-year old player signed in the summer from Lens, has been included in the Arsenal FC squad for the Champions League after impressive showing in the Emirates Cup in July.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been rewarded for his good performances in the pre-season by Arsene Wenger by a place in the Champions League squad.
After the game against Lyon in the Emirates Cup, Wenger had said that he sees Reine-Adelaide as a potential starter for the future.
He . said: “Reine-Adelaide is something special you know. He is a great talent and when he came on you could see that – 17 years old let’s not forget that. In fact I don’t remember how I played at 17 but I didn’t play like that!”
The squad also includes, unsurprisingly, their new ‘keeper Petr Cech, who is the only Champions League winning player in the entire squad.
Arsenal are in Group F alongside Bayern Munich, Olympiacos and Dinamo Zagreb and the full squad can be seen in the picture below.
