Angel Di Maria Rejects Manchester United Exit Talk


Angel Di Maria has rejected all the speculations surrounding his exit from Manchester United this summer. He insisted that he has no plans of leaving Old Trafford after just one year at the club.

According to reports in media, Di Maria said: a I have just finished my first season playing for Manchester United.

The Argentine attacker had joined the Premier League side last season for a British record transfer fee of A?59.7 million from Real Madrid. A lot was expected from Di Maria, but somehow he failed to cope with the surroundings at the club and did not live up to the expectations. The midfielder scored just 3 goals in 27 Premier League appearances and provided 10 assists. He also remained out of action for quite some time due to injury concerns.

After a poor season with the Red Devils, many speculated that Di Maria might opt to move out of the club and make a fresh start somewhere else. French giants Paris Saint-Germain had . reportedly made the Argentine one of their priorities in the summer. Now that Di Maria himself has confirmed his stay at United all the speculations and rumours have been put to rest.
