. Andres Iniesta has called Juventus and Italy’s legendary footballer Andrea Pirlo as an iconic footballer. Ahead of the UEFA Champions League final match on Saturday, Iniesta clarified that he will be fit to play at Berlin. Yesterday it was reported that Iniesta might miss the finals due to a calf injury which he had picked during Copa Del Ray final against Athletic Bilbao.

Iniesta said: a Ia m not even thinking about missing the final. I had a few problems, but nothing serious.

a Are we favourites? We dona t feel that way, no-one is thinking like that in our dressing room.a

The Barcelona midfielder further added that he is looking forward to giving his friend and teammate Xavi Hernandez a fitting farewell.

a I hope we can give Xavi the best send-off with a triumph in this kind of game. It will be an extra motivation for all of us”, Iniesta added.

a Pirlo? Hea s an icon of football. His passes can unbalance his opponents, and his name is synonymous with good play.

a His duel with Xavi will be amazing.a

This will be the fourth time in his career that Andrea Pirlo will play a UEFA Champions League final and the first team as a Juventus player. This will probably be his final appearance for the Old Lady and he will look forward to making it a memorable one by completing a treble.
