Ancelotti Lauds ai???Brilliant Barcelonaai??? And Their Top Strikers

Being praised by a former club legend or an opposition manager is one thing, however, it is a completely different thing when your fiercest rivals start lauding your performances.

Something similar happened last night as Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti hailed Barcelona, following the cluba s 0-8 win over Cordoba. It was a display of exhibition football from the Catalans for whom Luis Suarez scored a hattrick while talisman Lionel Messi bagged a brace.

With that win, Barca remain two points clear of the reigning European champions who also won their match later in the evening. However, Madrida s performance wasna t nearly as impressive as their fierce rivalsa as they could only manage a 2-3 win with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring all three goals.

Talking after the game, Ancelotti was asked about what he thought about Barca and whether his team will be able to get enough points to be champions at the end of the season.

“Barcelona are a brilliant team, their attackers are very effective. They are all so good. It’s no surprise they can score so many goals.”

With only three games left to play, Madrid need to win all their games and hope that Barca slip up at least once. Los Blancos do seem to have an easier run in compared to Barcelona who will travel to Madrid to face champions Atletico Madrid the game after next.

At the same time Madrida s toughest fixture seems to be a clash with Valencia at home. Should both sides end the season on the same points, Madrid will win the Liga on the basis of a better head to head record.
