All-Star Charity Game In Pictures: Drogba, Henry, Suarez & Torres Complete A Star Studded Game

Liverpool fans were given an absolute treat when a number of their former stars combined with Premier League greats to play out a competitive All-Star Charity Game at Anfield.

Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher captained the two sides as the game resulted in a two-all draw. Mario Balotelli and Didier Drogba gave Carragher’s side the lead before two Steven Gerrard penalties brought back the scoreline to a stalemate.

The game was a chance for the Liverpool fans to finally see Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres play together, something that they had hoped for when Suarez signed in 2011 just before Torres’ controversial departure. However, once he stepped on the pitch in the second half, he found nothing but respect and love from the Liverpudlians.
