Adam Lallana Braced For Great Things Under Klopp As Per Carragher, Lambert

Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher has joined Ricky Lambert in backing Adam Lallana to reach great heights under German Jurgen Klopp.

Lallana has had a erratic time at Anfield since his 25m GBP move from Southampton, with injuries being the major reason for the issue.

The Anfield outfit installed Jurgen Klopp as their new manager earlier in October, with the German famous for expecting a high work-rate from his forwards to implement his tactic of ‘gegenpressing’.

Lallana backed by Carragher to shine

Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher has backed the former Southampton captain to thrive under Klopp.

He wrote in his Daily Mail column: “It is going to take time for the new managera s methods to pay off but Lallana, with his willingness to run hard, looks tailor-made to play a part in Kloppa s revolution and it is interesting to see how much his fortunes have begun to change.

a The alteration, though, is not just down to running. Lallana was Liverpoola s best player against Rubin Kazan and he performed well at White Hart Lane too.

a He will be aiming to continue in that vein when his former club Southampton arrive at Anfield on Sunday.”

Lambert believes Lallana will play a crucial role for the Reds

Lallana’s former Liverpool FC and Southampton teammate Ricky Lambert has also backed the England international to thrive under Klopp

a I think Adam will do really well under him,a he told LFCTV this week.

a I think hea ll give Adam a more important role within the team.

a Obviously ita s hard to become a regular in the Liverpool team because there are so many good players, especially in his position.

a But if he gets a good run of games I truly believe he could be a great, great player. Klopp will get the best out of him.a

Lallana turned in a fantastic performance for the Reds against Rubin Kazan. With his high work-rate, ability to create chances, and better stamina in comparison to the likes of Phillipe Coutinho, he is well suited to become one of the key players in the style of play the Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to deploy.

Lallana has started both games under Klopp so far and is expected to do the same against his former side at Anfield on Sunday.
