Manchester United Robin Van Persie has been deemed as too expensive by Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoglu over the striker’s alleged 240,000-A-Week demands.
Galatasaray have been linked with a move for the Manchester United striker who has been vocal in the past weeks about his desire to get more game time in the coming season. In a bid to prepare for Euro 2016, Van Persie has refused to be a ‘bench sitter’ after conceding that Manchester United were armed with a 200 Million budget and hence were likely to bring in his replacement.
However, despite being linked with the Dutch international, Galatasaray seem to have pulled out of any potential deal for the striker over his high wage demands.
Van Persie is not on the wish list of the club and any deal for him would be too expensive.

Van Persie had made it quite clear in an earlier report that he wouldn’t want to be a bench-sitter and hence was looking for first team football as he warmed up to the idea of leaving Manchester United. However amidst reports suggesting Van Gaal’s interest in strikers like Karim Benzema, Mario Mandzukic, Gonzalo Higuain and Harry Kane, the Dutchman claimed that he was ready to fight for his place at Old Trafford.
Suffering from a sharp decline, Robin Van Persie is not the force he once used to be as he struggled from a string of injuries in his last season for Manchester United. Looking to compete in the English Premier League and Champions League, reports indicate that the club is keen on bringing in Van Persie replacement with the striker heading for the door after himself refusing to be a bench sitter at Old Trafford.
