Tottenham Hotspur looking to bring Mario Balotelli back to the Premier League in exchange for Erik Lamela who joined Spurs last summer for A?30 million.
Lamela has not been able to consolidate his position in the squad despite the hefty price tag and it appears that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to offload the winger. He has made only 9 league appearances so far in which he made a single assist for the club from London. Insiders believe that Tottenham Hotspur are looking for a direct swap deal between Lamela and Balotelli in a bid to add more teeth up front.
Mario Balotelli has blossomed at Milan and has scored ten goals in 17 league starts. Though the Italian striker lost his form in his last season for Manchester City, it appears that Spurs are more than willing to bring the ai???sensationalai??i?? striker to London as Soldado continues to misfire.
Spanish striker Robert Soldado has managed to score only 5 goals in 19 league starts and questions are being asked regarding Spursai??i?? ability to find the back of the net. Tottenham Hotspur have failed to live up to their billing despite a massive over-haul following Gareth Baleai??i??s departure. The new arrivals failed to kick-start their campaign which resulted in manager Andre Villas Boasai??i?? departure. Meanwhile Kyle Naughton has indicated that he may leave Tottenham this summer as he continues to play second fiddle to Kyle Walker for his preferred right-back position. The 25 year old wing-back has found himself playing on the left wing despite admitting that he is most comfortable playing on the right.
Speaking to the Press, the English full-back admitted that he has reached a stage in his career where he has to ask himself if he can ever be the number one player in his club.

Talking about his future, the player admitted that he will have to go looking for a new club if he is not guaranteed a starting position in the team. He made it clear that he was right-back by position and that it has been difficult for him to earn that spot for Tottenham after Walkerai??i??s fine display this season.
“I am not sure what is going to happen, but if I can’t hold down a first-team spot then I do have to look elsewhere. I am not going to lie – I am a right-back. That is the position I want to play in, but it has been difficult with Kyle Walker doing so well.”
