Manuel Pellegrini has expressed his desire to hold on to former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard, even after his short loan spell. Frank Lampard has been sensational for Manchester City so far, and has scored five goals for Manchester City already. The veteran midfielder who is on loan from New York City, could be retained, as a decision for his services is to be made soon. Manuel Pellegrini has already been a fan of his impact substitute appearances and would be looking to hold on to Lampard.
