Right after Chelsea FC’ 2-0 win over West Ham, which saw the London based club maintain their three point lead over second placed Manchester City, Jose Mourinho, punished Chelsea FC’ cry babies with a training session. Chelsea FC’s star studded array were scheduled over two training sessions on Saturday, before their fixture against Southampton, but many player raised their voiced and ‘cried’, according to Mourinho. Like his flamboyant self, Mourinho cancelled one training session on Saturday and instead pre-poned it to Friday itself, right after their win over West Ham United.
“In the start I had two training sessions planned for tomorrow. But they were crying so much in the changing room, I decided to make a change” said Mourinho.Ai??
Although some might assume that a change would be to cancel a training session, Mourinho dealt with the cry babies, his own way.
‘and they are training now and they will only have one session tomorrow.’ added the ‘Special One’.
Although Chelsea FC clash swords against Southampton on Sunday, fatigue could very well set into the squad, which has not been rotated much. Mourinho, continued with the winning formula of Matic and Fabregas in midfield, with Hazard, Oscar and Willian, powering Diego Costa, in their 2-0 win over West Ham.
Chelsea FC, opened the scoring through John Terry’s foot, which is ironical for a defender who is known for his heading prowess. A flicked on ball by Diego Costa, following a corner, was easily converted by Terry. A stellar first half display, which could see the Blues trample West Ham, ended with Chelsea FC winning 1-0. Diego Costa, scored Chelsea FC’s second and his complimentary goal, after a through ball by Eden Hazard, which was comfortably slotted in by the Spanish ace.
With a win against West Ham, Chelsea FC maintain their three point lead at the top of the Premier League. With the hectic Christmas schedule, far from over, Chelsea FC will hope that their impressive form in front of goal and all around continues, when they ram heads against Southampton.
Meanwhile, Manchester City won against West Bromwich Albion, to steady their pursuit of league leaders Chelsea FC and not lag behind. As the landscape is panning, the race for the Premier League title this time around, could be easily a two horse race.
