Tottenham Hotspur skipper Michael Dawson has distanced himself from the exit rumours linking him with Hull City, Crystal Palace, West Ham United, and QPR. Michael Dawson is looking forward to Spurs top 4 challenge under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
Michael Dawson is the longest serving Tottenham Hotspur player and the club captain. Even though he is the skipper, new regimes has always questioned his suitability. He was on the verge on joining QPR when Andre Villas Boas took over the proceedings in 2012. Former Nottingham Forest defender decided to fight for his place and rejected the 9 million offer from West London. He reclaimed his starting spot from fellow competitors through grit, determination and hard work, which saw him adding 41 appearances to his name last season.
Michael Dawson is one of the committed professionals in football, and he gives his everything while on the pitch. Lack of pace is seen as a loop hole in the high line defence and that is one of the main reasons for this rumoured exit. He makes up for the lack pace with commitment, dedication and puts his body in the line of fire to save his team. Michael Dawson is looking forward to working under Mauricio Pochettino and he believes that the Argentine can lead Tottenham back to Top 4 and a place in UEFA Champions League.
