Liverpool FC- Moreno And Markovic Ready To Face City But Lallana Will Miss Out

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has stated that Alberto Moreno and Lazar Markovic would be available to face Manchester City on Monday night.

Markovic, who was brought in from Benfica forAi??A?20 million, is set to make his debut and much is expected from the talented 20 year old winger who has seemed extremely confident in all his interviews.Ai??But the Reds’ costliest signing of the summer, Adam Lallana will still miss the game despite returning to training.

ai???Markovic will come into the squad, heai??i??s been excellent in training and worked very hard to come back. Adam Lallana is on the latter stages of his rehabilitation so heai??i??ll join the group but wonai??i??t be in the squad for Monday. Jose Enrique missed out almost the entire previous season with a knee injury. He participated in the pre-season with the Reds but did not feature for the club in the season opener against Southampton. The Spaniard is still doubtful for Liverpool’s big test against Manchester City. Club vice captain Daniel Agger whose future with the Merseyside club is still doubtful, will also miss the game with injury along with 21 year old Jon Flanagan.

With the form Glen Johnson has been in, Liverpool fans would hope Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo both start the game. However, it remains a strong possibility that Brendan Rodgers would start the England international and either one of Manquillo or Moreno would start from the bench.
