Arsenal FC ended their campaign on a high as goals from Aaron Ramsey and Carl Jenkinson ensured a comfortable win over Norwich City.
The result also confirmed Norwich Cityai??i??s relegation from the Premier League as they finished with 33 points ai??i?? three points short of West Bromwich Albion and four points short of safety. Arsenal meanwhile maintained their six match winning streak and will now look to carry this momentum into the FA Cup final against Hull City at Wembley.
Arsenal dominated possession in the first half, but failed to break through Norwich City defence. But Aaron Ramsey provided them with the lead at the start of the second half with a stunning volley. The Welsh midfielder was set up by a cross from Giroud at the far post and the midfielder displayed amazing technique to volley the ball into the top corner.
Carl Jenkinson, who made a rare start as the right back, doubled Arsenalai??i??s lead nine minutes later. Kieran Gibbsai??i?? low cross from the left found its way to Jenkinson at the far post and the full back applied the finishing touch. It was his first goal for the club which he has supported since a kid and his celebrations depicted how important it was for him.
Arsene Wenger was pleased with his teamai??i??s performance and has pointed out their wonderful away record as he looked back upon the season.
