According to reports, Manchester United have reached an agreement with Real Madrid over the sale of Angel Di Maria and the Argentine winger is expected to complete his medical early this week.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had earlier confirmed that Angel Di Maria would be leaving the Los Blancos after failing to reach an agreement with the club. And it seems that Manchester United have agreed to pay A?63.9 million for the winger following his stellar season with Madrid and Argentina.
According to journalist Guillem Balague, Real Madrid initially demanded 90 million (Euros)Ai?? to Manchester Unitedai??i??s offer of 60 and the final figure of 80 million (Euros) was arrived at, which translates into Ai??A?63.9 million. Balague also confirmed that Di Maria will be travelling to Manchester on Monday, having already bid his team-mates good-bye. The winger is likely to complete the transfer this week and should be expected to start against Burnley on Saturday.
The journalist also revealed that United will present Angel di Maria with the much coveted No 7 jersey, one that hasnt been done justice to, ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left Old Trafford.
