Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has said that he will not stand the in the way of his star striker Diego Costa joining Chelsea in the summer and also that Fernando Torres could return to the club
Diego Costa has attracted interest from various clubs as he has shone for the La Liga club this season and has been instrumental in their successful campaign in both the Spanish League and the Champions League. Atletico manager Diego Simeone has said that he will not stand in the way of Costa wanting to move out of the club and would want the player to make decisions for himself. He also said that he would support any decision the striker would make.
“It will depend on him and what he thinks is best for his future,” Simeone said in an interview
“We understand that Chelsea have huge financial power and if he wants to live off football for the rest of his life, I will have no problem in him going.”
