Chelsea FC legend Didier Drogba scored his fifth goal of the campaign against Tottenham Hotspur, as Chelsea FC cruised easily to a 3-0 victory in the London Derby. Although Chelsea FC missed suspended Deigo Costa, goal scoring responsibilities were equally shared between Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy. Eden Hazard opened the goal scoring tally for Chelsea FC, which was soon increased by Didier Drogba’s wonderful finish. Chelsea FC gaffer Jose Mourinho was not surprised by Drogba’s performance and believes that Drogba still has a lot to offer.
“I was expecting exactly this from Didier,” said Mourinho. “The important thing is that he’s here and he’s going to finish his career with Chelsea. It looks, for me, that he’s going to stay [at Chelsea] doing other things when he finishes his career.
“First of all he’s a team player. After that he’s one of these old days mentality. Not selfish, not vain. A humble guy, who plays for the team, fights for the team.
“It will be his decision when he decides when to stop as a player. It will be something personal.”
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho praised his side’s robust approach to the game, even after missing their prolific Spanish striker, Diego Costa.
“Did you remember Diego Costa today? I didn’t,” the Portuguese told reporters at full time.
“We need Diego Costa but our mentality is the right mentality. You don’t cry about it. You give responsibility to the others and they respond in the best way.”

Mourinho went on to add that Tottenham did not deserve to lose by this massive scoreline. Spurs, often threatend the Chelsea back four and were crisp, short and precise in their swift passing.
“”The 3-0 [score line] is not right for Tottenham, they play better than that,” he added. “For my team, I am so happy. The points, the goal difference, the performance, the way the players could identify the difficult moments of the game. It was fantastic.
“We had difficult moments that we not our fault. Tottenham created chances and they started very well at the start of the first and second half. They are a very good team and the principles of their team very well established and it is not easy to play against them.
With this win, Chelsea FC maintain their gap of six points with second placed Manchester City. Chelsea FC face Newcastle United in their fixture on Saturday and Jose Mourinho would be once again looking to maintain his unbeaten start to Chelsea FC’s Premier League campaign.
