Coach Van Heldhoven was quite evidently disappointed in the press conference when asked about managing to salvage only a draw after dominating a cautious Pune City side in the opening home match. Both the coach and the Delhi Dynamos team will be looking to overcome that disappointment as the Orange brigade Ai??boosted their confidence after a robust display at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan in the last match, where the team hoarded a well earned point and broke ATKai??i??s winning streak.
Ai??Van Hout is expected to start under the bars for the Orange Brigade, with Wim Raymaekers and Anwar Ali in the centre of defence. Shouvik Ghosh, the Mohun Bagan left back, has been more than impressive and is expected to tread the left flank with Shylo Malsawmtluanga. Naoba Thokchom and Francis Fernandes showcased quite impressive sync-up in the first two matches and both would once again look to pose a major threat to the Chennai defence.
Ai??Middle of the park for the DEN network owned team should see Hans Mulder continue do the wonderful work he has been doing in the first two games. Spaniard Bruno Herrero has proven his worth to the formation which is favoured by Belgian coach, and is once again expected to partner his Dutch partner.
Ai??The striking department will be headed by Del Piero, who has now shrugged off his initial problems and is all set to guide his team towards glory. Junker, who came into the league with a rich vein of form has been sparingly used by the coach and is expected to start today. His partner in crime and compatriot, Skoubo, has been injured but it is yet to be seen whether he will be thrown into the mix or not.
Ai??Van Veldhoven has made very shrewd substitutions in both the matches and has now given some game time to almost all the players following in the major crux, and who would see most of the action in the league. It will be very interesting to see how the Coach uses his bench, esp the foreigners in this all important tie.

Coach Marco Materazzi will once again rely on Bracigliano to take up the custodian role. The three man defence has shown immense sturdiness at the back with PSG youth product Bernard Mendy also scoring the all important winner in the last game. Silvestre will once again hold the centre with East Bengal vice captain Harmanjot Singh Khabra in the middle. Elano was once again very impressive in the last game, albeit amidst some heated arguments. He is too expected to orchestrate as he expects Mulder to run down his throat throughout the game.
Captain Dordic has held the left flank with Denson Devadas making the overlaps. Both looked very dangerous in the last game and are expected to be duly marked. Abhishek Das could be seen treading the right flank
Materazzi has been spot on with his usage of the strikers in both the games. India international Balwant Singh is a sure shot starter with either Bruno Pelissari or Mendoza upfront.
