Reports suggest that Jose Mourinho might have to sell either Eden Hazard or Oscar if he is to bring a striker of international repute to Stamford Bridge keeping in mind UEFAai??i??s Financial Fair Play regulations.
The Special One has been vocal in his criticism with regards to Chelseaai??i??s strikers and has made it quite clear that he is planning to bring a quality striker that will convert ai???half-chances into chancesai??i??. Though Mourinho brought Etoai??i??o to Chelsea with him at the beginning of this season, he has never hid his displeasure with the striker and has publicly criticised his age and form. Torres too has failed to shine under Mourinho and continues to drift in and out of matches.
This leaves Jose Mourinho with no other option but to bring another striker to make sure Chelsea can compete for the domestic as well as European tournaments. However reports suggest that Chelsea will have to offload either Eden Hazard or Oscar if they are to raise enough money for a striker.
According to the Financial Fair Play regulations, a club is not allowed to spend more money than it earns and hence Chelsea will not be able to bank on Roman Abramovichai??i??s financial clout to rebuild their team. Though they are reportedly planning to sell all four strikers, including on-loan Lukaku, it will not be enough to bring two quality players to Stamford Bridge this summer.
