Chelsea have reached an agreement for a partnership deal with Turkish club Besiktas. The partnership could result in Chelsea players with high salaries going out on loan to Turkey.
Currently, Chelsea have shipped out 26 players on loan to different clubs across Europe. Despite receiving a lot of flak, it looks like the London club will continue with the policy now that Chelsea have identified Besiktas as a potential destination to send players on loan.
Besiktas are one of the few clubs in Europe who can satisfy the high wage demands of Chelsea players thanks to the lucrative television deal in Turkey. The Turkish club have done business with the league leaders in the past when they signed Demba Ba in the summer being one of the few clubs that agreed to meet the strikers wage demands.
It is believed that Besiktas board member Erdal Torunogullari reached the Chelsea academy to discuss the agreement, around the same period that the Turkish club visited London to face Tottenham Hotspurs in the Europa League.
Torunogullari claims that the partnership will involve close co-operation between the first teams, academies, training support and join scouting projects. However, the main focus of the deal will be the will be the probability of Chelsea players joining the Turkish club on loan.
Chelsea already have a link-up with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, where Josh McEachran, Bertrand TraorAi?? and Wallace are on loan. However, Chelsea have recently faced difficulties in finding clubs willing to meet the salary demands of the players.
It is believed that young stars such as GaAi??l Kakuta, who is currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano, were asked to pay cuts ahead of loan moves this summer. In Besiktas, Chelsea have found a club which will be willing to meet the wage demands of the players.
Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard, who is on the brink of superstardom, does not think that he is one of the best players in the world as yet. Hazard, who has been in superb form as Chelsea are yet to be beaten this season, is set to sign a new 5-year deal that will make him the highest paid player at the club.
However, the Chelsea midfielder believes that if he wants to be considered one of the best players in the world, he cannot afford to go missing in any games.
“I’m not a top-five player yet,” Hazard said. “Maybe I’m close to it, but I still have to work on some aspects. You can only be part of that group if you are decisive in the top games. I start doing that, like I did against Manchester City and Arsenal.
“Who are better than me? The two extraterrestrials, Ronaldo and Messi, Ibrahimovic, RibAi??ry and Robben. They make the difference almost every game.”
The Belgian international received criticism for his World Cup performance and received flak for not being able to carry the team on his shoulder like Messi or Ronaldo do for Argentina and Portugal respectively.

Hazard reveal that manager Jose Mourinho will tell him that Chelsea have to play with just 10 players when the Belgian does not influence a game. “It all goes well for me at Chelsea,” Hazard said.
“Maybe this has been the best start in my career so far, although it isn’t reflected in the stats. I have played only one bad game – against Aston Villa. I’ve taken a good rest during my holiday, I had a short, but good pre-season and I feel really well.
“Jose Mourinho and I get along well. I’ve lots of respect for him. He gives me a lot of confidence. After a bad game he dares to say ai???We have played with 10 today’, but that’s it. At moments like that he leaves me alone. The image I had of him, before he came, is still the same I have now – he’s a big manager, who’s won everyAi??thing, who shares his experience and is close to his players. He defends us all the time.”
Paris-Saint Germain have been long time admirers of Eden Hazard, but the Belgian is not interested in returning to the Ligue 1. Hazard insist that he is happy in London playing for Chelsea and hinted that he may only leave to test himself in some other league, where he is yet to play.
“I’ve always been clear – I feel good at Chelsea,” Hazard said. “Every week I repeat the same on PSG. It’s a big team, but an inferior league. I don’t want to return to France, because I’ve won everything over there – the league title, cup, best player, best young player.
“I don’t want to say PSG is a step backwards, but It would be returning to something I already know. I’m always in for new challenges. When I will leave Chelsea one day, it would be to discover something new.”
