Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has revealed the clubai??i??s interest in Real Sociedad winger AntoineAi??Griezmann.
The 22-year-old is widely considered as one of the most talented youngsters in Europe and is predicted to have bright future. Griezmann grabbed a starting berth in the Real Sociedad side at the age of 17 back in 2009 and has not looked back since. His performances this season for the Spanish side has been nothing short of brilliant and the French U-21 international, who is expected to compete for a place in the French squad of the upcoming World Cup, has already scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 23 starts this season in La Liga. Reports in Spain back in January suggested that Real Sociedad has already turned down a bid from Arsenal for the winger, as they looked for Theo Walcottai??i??s replacement, who was ruled out for the rest of the season, and Schalke held onto Julian Draxler. But Arsenal are expected to go back for Griezmann in the summer and Arsene Wenger has now revealed the clubai??i??s interest in Griezmann although the Gunners will face a lot of competition.

There has been a lot of discontent among the Arsenal supporters regarding Arsenalai??i??s inactivity in the January transfer window, despite the fact that the Gunners lacked any real back-up for Olivier Giroud and were struggling to replace Ramseyai??i??s and Walcottai??i??s goals from the midfield. Arsenalai??i??s failure to sign a striker in January might even cost them the title eventually, and a forward still remains their priority next summer. With the Gunners expected to make a move for Draxler next season and Walcott expected to return from injury, it will be interesting to see if they still pursuit their interest in Griezmann, or the Frenchman is just a back for Draxler if the London club fails to land the German international in the summer.
