Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has stressed on the importance of their match against Everton and insisted that his side turned the corner against Manchester City.
Everton are currently just four points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table, with a game in hand. A win for the Merseyside club in their upcoming match against Arsenal will provide them with a big advantage in the race for the fourth spot and Arsene Wenger has stressed on the importance of this game at Goodison Park.
Arsenal won the last meeting between these two sides earlier this season when they faced off in the FA Cup and that result means that the Merseyside club are now winless their last 14 games against the Gunners in all competitions. But Arsene Wenger has pointed out the quality of this Everton side and believes it is a must win game for his team.

“Everton are a good side, that’s why they are where they are. I think in the first game [in December] we were caught just at the end. In the second game we won 4-1 and scored two late goals, so they were two interesting games. I think it will again be very interesting on Sunday.
“For us it’s very difficult to imagine the impact it will have on finishing fourth, but it’s a game we want to win. Everton have won against Swansea in the last minute and they have a never-give-up attitude, which gives them credit.
“They still have a difficult programme as well – like all of us they have to play a lot of difficult teams.” ai??i?? The Arsenal manager said.
Arsenal have dropped a lot of points recently, but they did put up a good performance in their last Premier League outing where they managed to hold Manchester City to a 1-1 draw, when most of the experts were expecting another big defeat for the Gunners. The Arsenal boss believes that his men might have turned a corner with that performance and has also insisted that they havenai??i??t given up on the title race yet.
