Arsenal are reportedly going to launch a sensational bid for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal while Arteta is being eyed by Athletic Bilbao
Arsene Wenger heaped praise on Chile international Arturo Vidal which added fuel to reports already stating that the Gunners were launching a sensational A?44m bid for the player.
Reports suggest that Arsenal were ready to break their transfer record to secure the services of the 27-year-old Juventus midfielder. The Premier League sideai??i??s current record stands at A?42m, which they paid just last season to land Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.

The 32-year-old Arteta only has a year remaining on his current contract. He could be on his way out as Arsene Wenger is himself looking to refresh and reshape his side for the next campaign.
