Barcelona were held to a goalless draw for their second consecutive Champions League away game by Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

But that mattered little, as a point was enough for the Blaugrana to secure qualification to the knockout stages. They have also secured the top spot in the Group. Should Juventus win their next match and Barcelona lose, the Catalans will still have top spot as they have better head-to-head record against Juve.

Barcelona had most of the possession as expected, but managed only 1 shot on target the entire game. Both teams nearly had an identical number of attempts at goal, but only Paulo Dybala forced Ter Stegen to make an important save in the dying minutes of the game.

The Fans were left bewildered when the starting XI was released, only to show that Lionel Messi of all people was left on the bench.

 

Andres Iniesta ran the show from midfield, and upon getting subbed off towards the end of the game, the entire Allianz Stadium was on its feet.

Late in the game, Paulo Dybala nearly scored the winner and was off celebrating, but Ter Stegen made a stunning diving save at the far post to deny the Argentine
