3) VladAi??Chirichesai??i?? Tottenham (A?8.5m from Steaua Bucharest)

There has been a clear out and plethora of arrivals at White Hart Lane. Andre Villas Boas and Daniel Levy have put the Gareth Bale moolah to great use. Big name signings such as Lamela, Soldado and Paulinho have arrived, yet the most interesting piece of business could be the acquisition of the Romanian Center Back Chirches. The 23 year old Romanian is a center-back of rare grace and looks physically equipped to deal with the hurly burly of English football and will definitely add steal to the Spurs backline. Signing Chiriches became even more important for the Lily Whites as they allowed Steven Caulker to join Cardiff City thereby depleting their defense. With the Romanian amongst their ranks, Villas Boas can look to rotate his squad as Spurs will try and compete on 3-4 major fronts.

2) Ozil ai??i?? Arsenal (A?42.5m from Real Madrid)

Germany Ozil
The German Maestro

Yes, the price is steep and some may reckon Arsenal and Wenger should have used some of that cash in more pressing areas of concern ai??i?? Central Defense for example. However, this signing is a watershed moment in the history of English football and more importantly for Arsenal football club. Wenger shattered his transfer record to land one of the most coveted playmakers in modern day football and perhaps signaled his intent of finally competing with the big boys. Ozil is a class above most players and the Premier league will surely be enriched by his brilliance. The German international has the tendency to drift seamlessly into open spaces and unlock tightest of defenses, the highest assist maker in all of Europe ai??i?? Ozil is definitely worth the wait for Gooners all around the world.
